Various Kikashi in the Hanezeki
(2007 - 2011; 2014)
The Semeai Variation Again
@ ; @ ; @ |
We will consider the Semeai Variation again, after Black's kikashi of / in the hanezeki. |
White has 24 points in the marked area. This is as many as with the double throw-in, so Black wins the Semeai Variation by three points. However, this is one point better than without Black's kikashi in the hanezeki, so Black should choose this line of play, gaining the same result as with our solution. |
|
///: Due to the guzumi in the upper right corner, Black still does not need to fear the Punishment Semeai. |
|
Black wins the semeai by one move. Please note that this result depends on the approach-move liberty at 17, so this variation is not available with the classic solution, where the guzumi is not played. | |
