The Non-Main-Semeai Solutions

After the Completion of the Hanezeki

Starting Point = White F2

White F2 as Move #36 (4 Jigo)

2620

The Haneziki's Tail has its minimum length of two stones.

Instead of following Black with for an early Guzumi Exchange, White plays the Hane in the lower left corner.

White F2 as Move #46 (1 Jigo)

Here, Black has already completed the sequence for reducing White's upper right corner.

The Haneziki's Tail has reached a length of four stones.

Instead of following Black with for an early Guzumi Exchange, White plays the Hane in the lower left corner.

The Jûrokubango has come to an end.

Over the course of the Jûrokubango (bold section), Black's Initial Self-Play Success Ratio (the blue line in the diagram) stabilised in the range between 65% and 60%.

We are looking at a viable solution here, which is easier to play for Black than for White !

28b's surplus of won games in the Jûrokubango (the red line in the diagram) has reached 0 (showing an upward trend).

28b has therefore mastered this variation just as well as 40b.

The comments indicate the number of games in which the respective variation was selected.
E.g. "A=19 // B=264" == Variation "A" was played in 19 games, variation "B" in 264 games.
(The labelling is designed for SGF-editors that label next moves with capitals "A", "B", "C", ...)
