White gives atari from the outside, turning the approach-move ko into a direct one.

However, White tries too hard in the ko fight. This move takes herself a Main Semeai Liberty.

Ignoring Black's ko threat at the bottom is best now. White captures Black's cut-off stones in the upper left corner.

Black's large group at the right has sufficient liberties, and so will win the semeai with White's bottom group.
