Currently, Black has six liberties that are shared with White's centre group ().
Additionally, there are seven external liberties in the upper right, five direct ones (), and two approach-move liberties ().
Black will connect the hanezeki's tail with , once he has reduced the number of shared liberties to five. He will win the ensuing semeai and capture White's centre group.

Sooner or later, White will capture the hanezeki's tail with . Thereafter, she will force Black to capture her stones in the upper left corner with , before contining the endgame on the left side with in the lower left corner.

Black will win the game by 14 points.
