Black will connect the hanezeki's tail with , once he has reduced the number of shared liberties to five. He will win the ensuing semeai and capture White's centre group.

Therefore, White will have to capture the hanezeki's tail with earlier.
Thereafter, she will force Black to capture her stones in the upper left corner with , before contining the endgame on the left side with in the lower left corner.

Black will win the game by nine points.
