Variations of Our Solution (IIIb)

Tricking KataGo (Triple-Ko)

VAR (C) (A) (.1)

: ( 222kp)
White connects at the lower edge, also giving atari at Black's single stone above.

: (128 222kv ;  129 222kw)
Black simplifies the matter by connecting his stone at the lower edge.

Alternatively, he might consider pushing at in the upper right. However, taking profit (for the Capture Variation) inside the Main Semeai area means that White will be able to increase her score in the Semeai Variation.

As we know now, Black would achieve his best score in the Semeai Variation, if he protected his territory in the left centre immediately.

: ( 129 222ky)
White erases her weakness in the upper right corner.

However, choosing KataGo's bad-shape move in the left centre would be better for her, as far as her score in the Semeai Variation is concerned.

:
The Main Semeai continues.

We have reached a change in the order of moves with the superordinate variation.

The final scores of the game will become White + 6 / Jigo.
