After evaluating Joachim's idea of preventing White's endgame in the top left corner, we found that this idea might come to life in a further two other sub-variations.
:
The first one is the sub-variation for . Instead of finishing the Crosscut Sequence with a move at , Black plays hiki at , so preventing Yamada Shinji's tsuke at . White's connecting move at took both the Black, and the White, group a shared liberty, so there will result no difference to what has been shown earlier ( 225). One main sequence after here can be also found above ( 128).

The second one could become more complicated, because Black's move at spoiled the shape of White's group on the upper edge; Black moves at , or , might become atari now. However, even here, White will win the game; details can be found above ( 138).
