We assume here that Black has played the beginning of the Nakade Sequence - to - at a suitable moment earlier in the game. Black's aim was to generate ko-threats on the left side of the board.

Black tries the atari of as a ko-threat.

But White simply captures the hanezeki's tail.

:
White wins the Punishment Semeai by one move.

As long as White can capture the hanezeki's tail successfully, the left side of the board is irrelevant, as far as valid ko-threats for Black are concerned.
