VAR (C) (A) (.2) (.2) (.1)

Black captures White's two stones in the lower left, continuing with the Main Semeai.

: (A 222ek)
White gives atari in the upper left, in an attempt to punish Black's earlier tenuki there.

Playing the other atari at , instead, would not give Black any chances, while not affecting the final scores of the game.

: (118 222em)
Black connects his two stones.

However, White lost one tempo in the Main Semeai by her atari at , so Black might consider destroying some of White's terrtitory in the guzumi area, starting with , instead.
Initially, I dared to play this manoeuvre only after White lost two tempi by connecting her two stones in th lower left. It was Joachim, who put my attention on the fact that the gain of tempo was sufficient for Black.
However, the final scores of the game will not be affected here.

:
White defends her territory in the guzumi area, also continuing with the Main Semeai.

Black plays 1/1 reduction.
