This "natural" looking move, securing two eyes for White's top group, is not correct. White takes things too easy here.

Black could also insert the kikashi of Michael Redmond in the bamboo joint, instead, at the point of .
If Black mistakenly plays the "usual" Nakade Sequence on the left side, starting with a move at , he will lose.

Black's top left corner is of maximum size, so White cannot hope to win the game by capturing the left side, with a move at , instead, and let Black's large group in the upper right live.

We have reached the position before the mutual connection of opponent's liberties. Black's group in the top right has 12 liberties (), so there will be no Punishment Semeai.

White's gain by capturing the two marked Black stones will not be enough to turn the tables. Please note that - in addition to her loss in the upper left corner - White did not get three additional points of territory here, due to Black's guzumi.
