Variations of Our Solution (II)

VAR (C) (B) (A)

: ( 273)
White occupies a liberty of Black's nakade stones.

:
It is technically correct to play on the second line here.

If Black played at , instead, White would gain a ko-threat at .

:
If there was a final endgame-ko, this move could be played at , to create an additional ko-threat in the top right corner, should 129, and 132, be the final points.

:
This move could be used as a ko-threat, and so should not be played "early".

White wins by one point.

The lower right quadrant of the board remains seki. So, if Black had not played the second, and / or the first, throw-in, White's advantage will be reduced by one, or two, points, and this sub-variation would no longer be available.
