Quite surprisingly (at least for our amateurish eyes) Black answers with a move in the nakade, so following a suggestion of Michael Redmond. This move forces White to take Black's stones in the nakade off the board, to avoid a seki.

Black will lose a point, if he connects at , instead, as we did before.

It will not benefit White to throw-in at , instead.

White wins by one point.

However, if Black did not play any throw-in in the hanezeki, White would have two prisoners less, so loosing the game by one point.
