Comparison with the Professional Solution

From on, White follows the ideas of the professional solution. White captures nine stones.

White captures a further five stones.

White captures a yet further four stones.

White has got five points of territory on the left.

Altogether White got 23 points with the Nakade Sequence, in which Black sacrifices repeatedly.
But, capturing the centre with costs White 24 points. 23 points result from the derivation that was explained earlier ( 882), and one point is due to the effect of the second throw-in ( 915).
Altogether, combining both sequences gives a resulting gain of one point for Black.

But one must not forget the maximum 14 points (5 + + 5 + + 1 prisoner at ), White gets by occupying Black's liberties at top right in the professional solution. Combined, Black's advantage is 13 points, if White lets him live in the top right. White reaches a jigo in the professional solution, which does not include the tsuke of Yamada Shinji, so she must get compensation in the top left corner of probably over ten points to win.
