Guzumi at Top Right (2007 - 2009)

(Referenced by 23; 197)

This chapter explains the consequences of the move, overlooked by professionals, which we think gives the victory back to Black. Most of the sequences shown here have not yet been professionally validated. Please understand the order of moves in the historical context of our investigations; we played the guzumi first over a long period of time, before the hasami-tsuke.
The order of moves does not play a decisive role here. After our very intense work on potential White tenuki variations ended, we concentrated on other aspects of the problem. Therefore, some of the variations included here might be a bit outdated. However, as far as we know, no refutation of our new move has been found in the meantime.
