Black throws-in for a second time with . This move has not been used in the classical solutions. In 2007, I found this move to be usually advantageous for Black. It provides a small, but not decisive, loss of one point, only in the tenuki variations ( 432) after my guzumi.
With Joachim's Ko-Semeai, White will win the ko-fight, independent of how many throw-in Black chooses.

, and , are sente.

With the second throw-in, it is not necessary to play so early. White does not gain by playing at in gote, neither territorially nor with the outcome of the semeai in the upper right. So we kept this move here, to simplify the following discussion.

The exchange of for is Black's privilege later. Black thus destroys one point of potential White territory, at .
